Join us on Labor Day Monday as we celebrate the most prized apple from our orchard - the Honeycrisp Apple! Honeycrisp apples grown in our orchard are even better and sweeter than their grocery store counterparts. Perfectly crisp, juicy, with a watermelon-like crunch, come find out why this apple is so popular! Join us for an extra-special, adult only evening of apple picking paired with a guided tasting of Vala’s most exclusive farmcrafted hard ciders. Join us at the U-Pick Apple Shed (located near the Cider Mill), where you will load onto a tractor ride out to our beautiful orchard led by our Ag Director, who will talk about Vala’s orchard and apple growing in Nebraska. From there, our Orchard Hosts will greet you with your first pour and introduce you to the evening’s lineup of delicious orchard-based ciders. Tim Vala says seeing a field full of pumpkins is like seeing the ocean for the first time, soak it all in! Pick up pumpkin painting and carving supplies from our Exit barn gift shop!
