INDOOR & DECK SEATING
The cider mill is where all of Vala’s Orchard Apples are stored and then pressed into sweet cider. Some of that cider is served fresh, while the rest is fermented to make our farm-crafted hard ciders. Stop by to catch a view of our cider makers pressing apples from the indoor viewing windows of the Cider Mill. Sip on sweet or hard ciders, savor farm-to-table foods, and relax on the deck overlooking the Cider Mill Pond and water wheel.

We love barbecue, and we’re thrilled to be smoking and serving our own barbecue at Ethan’s daily! We use applewood for a subtle, fruity flavor. Our meats are sourced locally whenever possible and smoked low and slow, for the best quality barbecue, you won’t want to miss. Along with our signature pulled pork and ribs, don’t miss our tasty specials which pop up for festivals and weekends!

Our first large meal location serves fried chicken and hot beef dinners, inspired by Sunday Suppers at Grandma Lois’ house. Stop in to enjoy classic Nebraska comfort food.

Our hand-made, from-scratch pies with all-butter crust are simply the best! Try our Salted Caramel Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie made with our own pumpkins, and many more. Pie specials change weekly on Fridays. Plus, warm up with hot sandwiches (NEW!), soups and pot pies.

Our burger spot is a favorite of kids and grown-ups alike! Try The Vala Burger, featuring bacon, cheese and our special sauce.
